Universidad Católica de Temuco Medicine program receives accreditation

The Medicine program at the Universidad Católica de Temuco (UCT) has received its first accreditation for a period of three years. Having commenced activities in 2024, the accreditation recognizes the institution's foundational work and its focus on community-based, intercultural health models.

School of Medicine Director Jenny Collipal and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Claudia Bascuñán noted that the achievement reflects the collective effort to establish solid academic foundations. The program emphasizes continuous improvement and self-evaluation to maintain educational quality.
