Universidad Católica disputes ANFP scheduling for Audax Italiano match

The Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP) has confirmed the rescheduled date for the match between Universidad Católica and Audax Italiano. The game is set to take place on Wednesday, October 28, at 20:30 at the Claro Arena.

The match was previously suspended following an alluvial event in the San Carlos de Apoquindo sector of Las Condes, which led to the stadium being used as a coordination and collection center.

Universidad Católica has filed a formal complaint against the ANFP, alleging that the rescheduling violates legal and regulatory timeframes. The club specifically cites Article 28 of Law No. 19.327, which requires a minimum of ten business days to request authorization for professional football spectacles. The club maintains it has not received formal documentation proving such authorization and argues that the organizing body must adhere to the same rules imposed on its members. Despite these objections, Universidad Católica has expressed its willingness to play the match and has proposed alternative dates to the ANFP.
