Universidad Católica Nordestana hosts climate change forum

The Universidad Católica Nordestana (UCNE) held a session titled ‘Clean Air, Healthy Life 2026’ in San Francisco de Macorís to address the global challenge of climate change. The event featured a central panel titled ‘Towards the New World of Climate Change’ and was dedicated to the National Council for Climate Change and Carbon Market (CNCCMC).

UCNE Rector Isaac García de la Cruz called for unity across political, social, and religious lines to combat the environmental crisis. The forum brought together government authorities, religious leaders, business representatives, and students to discuss public policy, international cooperation, and business innovation as tools for sustainable solutions.
