Universidad Católica renews contract with Justo Giani

Universidad Católica has officially secured the services of Argentine attacker Justo Giani by exercising his purchase option. The 27-year-old, who arrived at the club on loan from Aldosivi, has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the team until December 2029.

Giani has become a key figure in the squad under manager Daniel Garnero, performing notably in both the National Championship and the Copa Libertadores. Following the announcement, Giani expressed his satisfaction with the move, stating that he found a “human place” at the club and emphasizing his desire to compete for titles and glory in competitions such as the Copa Chile.

The club's decision to finalize the deal comes as part of its long-term planning for the 2027 season and potential international tournament participation.
