Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera reports growth in Elche

Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera has launched the 2026-2027 academic year with significant growth at its Elche campus. The campus reported 800 new students, a 45% increase from the previous year, bringing total enrollment to 2,400 students.

The university is expanding its academic offerings in Elche with the introduction of two new degrees: Medicine and Business Intelligence. Rector Higinio Marín noted that the institution is seeing record numbers of degrees and new students, which he views as a sign of growing academic reputation. Vice-rector Álvaro Antón stated that the new programs aim to strengthen health sciences and the digital economy through technology and artificial intelligence.
