The Universidad César Vallejo (UCV) Trujillo campus has delivered medical simulators and advanced technological equipment to the Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo (HRDT). This initiative is part of a cooperation agreement between the two institutions aimed at improving the hospital's technological infrastructure and enhancing training, research, and learning for health science students and professionals.
The donation includes high-fidelity simulators for specialized training in medicine and nursing, such as the ‘Newborn Anne’ neonatal resuscitation mannequin, a multifunctional emergency and obstetric care trainer, and a surgical suture practice arm.
Additionally, the university provided digital equipment consisting of 15 Lenovo computers and six 86-inch 4K Ultra HD interactive screens. These tools are intended to facilitate clinical case presentations, medical discussions, and knowledge exchange. The handover ceremony was attended by UCV Trujillo Director Gisell Prado Álvarez and HRDT Director Víctor Salazar Tantaleán.
