Universidad de Antofagasta launches new medical specialty training cycle

The Universidad de Antofagasta has officially inaugurated its 2026 academic year for Medical Specialty Programs at its Clinical Hospital. The university welcomed 17 new medical residents, bringing the total number of students in the specialty programs to 49.

These programs include General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Adult Psychiatry, and Radiology/Imaging. The expansion follows the graduation of 22 new specialists in 2025.
