Universidad de Colima to host free science event at Plaza Sendera
The University of Colima will host a series of free scientific activities from September 26 to 28 at Plaza Sendera. Held in observance of the International Day of Scientific Culture, the event aims to make scientific knowledge accessible to all ages and encourage interest in science among children and adolescents.
The program includes exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, and lectures covering topics such as artificial intelligence, health, chemistry, mathematics, and the environment. Specific sessions include discussions on the impact of AI on learning, the benefits and risks of artificial intelligence, and various interactive demonstrations regarding fossils, toxicology, immunology, and air quality.
Activities are scheduled daily from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring contributions from undergraduate and graduate students and faculty. The event also seeks to provide tools for the public to distinguish reliable information from false content.
