Universidad de Guanajuato celebrates 30 years of Red Médica Universitaria

The Universidad de Guanajuato (UG) marked the 30th anniversary of its Red Médica Universitaria during the opening of the XXIII Medical Conferences. The event highlighted the institutional transformation of university health services, which have integrated new technologies and modern care models to increase efficiency.

During the ceremony, UG General Rector Dr. Claudia Susana Gómez López emphasized the need for continuous improvement to ensure the long-term viability and solvency of the university health system. She noted that updated guidelines announced in late 2025 aim to support the university community throughout various academic and professional stages.

Dr. Gómez López also recognized the multidisciplinary staff—including medical professionals, nursing, nutrition, psychology, and administrative personnel—noting that the essence of the network lies in human sensitivity and dignified treatment alongside specialized knowledge.
