Universidad de Guanajuato hosts open house for 650 students

The University of Guanajuato (UG) hosted an ‘Open Day’ event at its Campus León locations, specifically the San Carlos and Campestre I sites. The initiative aimed to showcase the university's educational offerings to prospective students.

More than 650 high school students participated, including those from UG's own upper secondary schools, the Sistema Avanzado de Bachillerato y Educación Superior en el Estado de Guanajuato (SABES), and the Complejo Educativo Hispanoamericano. The event featured informative modules from three academic divisions: Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Science and Engineering.

Visitors toured facilities such as the Interpretative Audiovisual Ethnography Laboratory (ETNOAI) and participated in scientific talks, workshops, and laboratory visits. The event also included an astronomical observation session using telescopes and presentations regarding student services and support programs.
