Universidad de las Artes de Yucatán to host Queen tribute concert

The Universidad de las Artes de Yucatán (UNAY) will host the “Queen con Manolo” Rock Symphonic Concert on Tuesday, August 25, at the Caja Negra venue. The large-scale production features over 50 musicians, including the UNAY Symphony Orchestra, Popular Ensemble, and Vocal Ensemble.

Directed by Manolo López, the performance aims to pay tribute to the band Queen through hits such as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Are the Champions,” and “Under Pressure.” Beyond the musical tribute, the concert serves as a solidarity action to support López, a director, composer, and UNAY professor, during a period requiring community support.
