Universidad del Bío-Bío medical students begin clinical training in San Carlos

Nineteen third-year medical students from the Universidad del Bío-Bío are beginning their first practical clinical activities at the Hospital de San Carlos. Starting September 1, the students will work within the hospital's Medicine Service under the supervision of four physician instructors.

This marks the first time an entire generation of medical students from the Universidad del Bío-Bío has conducted their practical training at the San Carlos facility. The collaboration was facilitated through the hospital's Teaching-Assistance Relationship Unit to bridge academic training with real-world clinical environments.
