Universidad del Sinú to inaugurate IKIGAI Park in Montería

Universidad del Sinú will inaugurate IKIGAI Park in Montería on October 15. The 3,500-square-meter multisensorial ecosystem is designed as a space for self-discovery, personal reflection, and connection to life purpose.

The project, part of the ‘Science for Peace’ program, features various environments including natural green zones with vegetation, hammocks, and misting systems to create a comfortable microclimate. A key attraction is the ‘My Future Self’ capsule, which utilizes artificial intelligence to help visitors reflect on their personal history and potential futures.

Artistic elements include the ‘IKIGAI Mosaic,’ a 280-square-meter mural created by artist Andrés Molina with the participation of 200 students. The park also includes an acoustic shell for academic and cultural ceremonies, aiming to serve as both a university wellness space and a new tourist attraction for the city.
