Universidad del Zulia announces new Professional Responsibility Bonus beneficiaries

The University of Zulia (LUZ) has announced an update regarding the Professional Responsibility Bonus (Bono de Responsabilidad Profesional) for the educational sector. New beneficiaries have been incorporated into the payment system for the month of September 2026.

The payments, processed through the Patria platform, specifically include retired teaching staff who are currently under contract for administrative or academic duties within the university. The Venezuelan government has been depositing these bonuses for personnel within the Ministry of Education and other state entities since Wednesday.

Payment amounts vary based on academic level, years of service, position, and the specific organization. Reported amounts include Bs. 128,250 and Bs. 145,350. Beneficiaries can confirm their assignments via text message from the short code 3532 or through the Patria Monedero application.
