Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas is expanding its postgraduate offerings in Civil Engineering to address infrastructure challenges in Bogotá and throughout Colombia. The Faculty of Technology is providing specialized training through two specializations and a Master’s degree.

The specializations include ‘Interventoría y Supervisión de Obras’ (Works Inspection and Supervision), which focuses on technical, administrative, and financial project control, and ‘Gerencia de la Construcción’ (Construction Management), which emphasizes project direction, cost analysis, and BIM methodology.

The Master’s in Civil Engineering consists of 40 credits over four semesters, offering four areas of emphasis: Structures, Geotechnics, Water Resources, and Construction and Habitat Management. These programs aim to equip professionals with skills in seismic engineering, soil behavior, and sustainable development.
