Universidad Distrital showcases academic works at Ulibro Bucaramanga

Editorial UD, the publishing arm of Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, participated in the Ulibro Bucaramanga book fair held between August 28 and September 6. This marked the institution's first appearance at the event, serving as part of a strategy to increase the regional visibility of its academic and research production.

The editorial presented over 90 titles covering diverse fields including engineering, mathematics, physics, social sciences, arts, and the environment. Notable works included 'Botánica-Taxonómica aplicada a la ingeniería forestal' and the 'Nuestra América' collection, which features biographies and Latin American thought regarding figures such as Simón Bolívar and José Martí. Felipe Pardo, a manager at Editorial UD, noted that the encounter helped connect the university's academic output with new audiences outside of Bogotá.
