Universidad Iberoamericana León announces Alumni Race

Universidad Iberoamericana León has announced the ‘Latiendo con Orgullo Jesuita’ Alumni Race, scheduled for Sunday, October 18. The event will take place at the university’s sports facilities, offering 5 and 10-kilometer routes starting at 7:00 a.m.

University Rector Luis Alfonso González Valencia stated that the primary goal of the race is to strengthen the sense of community among alumni, students, professors, and collaborators. Since its inception in 2018, the event has grown in popularity among the running community. For the upcoming edition, organizers aim to reach approximately 400 participants.

In addition to fostering community ties, the race serves a charitable purpose. Donations in kind collected during the registration process will benefit the Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad, as noted by Adriana Romero Franco, president of the hospital's volunteer group.
