Tlaxcala municipality launches free family garden course
The Tlaxcala City Council, through the Municipal Institute for Women (IMM), is offering a free "Family Gardens" course starting on 27 August and running until December. Sessions are held every Thursday from 08:30 to 11:00 at the IMM facilities on Leonarda Gómez Blanco 19, Adolfo López Mateos neighbourhood. The program aims to strengthen household economies, encourage healthy eating and promote environmental stewardship by teaching home‑gardening techniques.
To enroll, participants must present two copies of a current INE credential and complete the registration form provided by the institute. Registration is accepted Monday to Friday, 09:00‑17:00, at the IMM offices. The course is coordinated with the Directorate General of Technological, Agro‑pecuarian and Marine Education (DGETAyCM) and is intended especially for women in the capital.
