Universidad Nacional de Jujuy to lead ZICOSUR Universitario until 2028

The Universidad Nacional de Jujuy (UNJu) has been elected to lead the ZICOSUR Universitario network until 2028. During the XV Assembly of International Advisors and the 40th Meeting of Rectors, Mario Bonillo, rector of UNJu, was chosen as the new president of the network.

Dr. Mariano Adolfo Pacher Morel, rector of the Universidad Nacional de Canindeyú in Paraguay, was appointed as vice president. The next meeting of the network is scheduled to be hosted by the Universidad Nacional de Asunción in Paraguay.

The assembly brought together representatives from public universities across Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay. The initiative aims to strengthen regional integration through academic and scientific cooperation, strategic dialogue, and shared development agendas, particularly regarding regional resources.
