Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata to host public bicycle ride

The Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (UNMDP) is organizing a recreational event titled “La Universidad Pública nos mueve” (The Public University Moves Us). Scheduled for Saturday, August 29, at Paseo Dávila, the event aims to connect the university community with local citizens while promoting sustainable mobility, culture, and social economy.

The activity features a non-competitive 9-kilometer bicycle ride along the Mar del Plata coast, starting and ending at Paseo Dávila. As part of the initiative, the university will distribute 50 bicycles to students through the “Universidad en Bici” program to facilitate sustainable transport. The day will also include an entrepreneur fair, music, and various cultural activities.
