Universidad Nacional de Santiago del Estero expands educational training and outreach

The Universidad Nacional de Santiago del Estero (UNSE) has launched several initiatives to support educational development and vocational guidance in the province. Through its School for Educational Innovation (EIE), the university has begun a pedagogical, administrative, and normative training program for teachers competing for permanent leadership positions in initial, primary, and secondary education levels. This four-month program, organized in collaboration with the General Council of Education, combines in-person and asynchronous sessions to strengthen the competencies of future school directors.

Additionally, UNSE is expanding its outreach to regional communities through the “La UNSE abre sus puertas” (UNSE Opens Its Doors) initiative. Rector Marcelino Ledesma led a virtual press conference for media outlets in various interior towns, such as Las Termas de Río Hondo and Añatuya, to promote vocational guidance and academic offerings. The goal is to ensure that students in remote areas have access to information regarding their professional and academic futures.
