Universidad Nacional de Santiago del Estero improves transparency score

The National University of Santiago del Estero (UNSE) has achieved a score of 74.5 on the Transparency Index developed by the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP). This represents an increase of more than 45 points compared to the previous measurement, where the institution scored 28.8.

The result is the first evaluation since the current administration, led by Rector Marcelino Ledesma and Vice-Rector Fernanda Mellano, took office in December 2025. The improvement reflects a process of organizing, updating, and systematizing public information to comply with Law 27.275 regarding access to public information.

Rector Ledesma stated that transparency is being treated as a permanent institutional policy rather than a mere legal obligation, emphasizing the community's right to know how public resources are managed and how the university operates.
