Universidad Nacional de Tucumán tenders glass facade renovation

The National University of Tucumán (UNT) has opened bids for a project to renovate the glass facade and roof of an auditorium at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. The project, identified as Work No. 646, has an official budget of approximately $38,047,319.29 based on April 2026 values.

According to Gerardo Madariaga, Secretary of Projects and Works at UNT, this represents the first tender launched under the current administration of Rector Sergio Mohamed. The work is expected to be completed within a 60-day timeframe. This initiative is part of a broader infrastructure agenda aimed at maintaining and improving university buildings, which includes upcoming tenders for rain reinforcement works at the Faculty of Psychology.
