Universidad Nacional del Chaco Austral launches neuroscience diploma

The Universidad Nacional del Chaco Austral (UNCAUS) has opened registration for a new diploma program titled ‘Cognitive Neuroscience Applied to Health’. The six-month program is scheduled to begin on October 5, 2026, and will be conducted entirely via a virtual modality, utilizing both synchronous and asynchronous classes.

This interdisciplinary program aims to explore mental processes and their neurobiological foundations by integrating knowledge from psychology, medicine, biology, and health sciences. The curriculum is organized into six modules covering topics such as cognitive processes, emotion and behavior, neuropsychological evaluation, and cognitive pathology.

The program is designed for health professionals, including doctors, psychologists, nutritionists, and nurses. Academic direction is provided by Lucía M. Alba-Ferrara, with instructors Mariana Bendersky and Alejandra Daniela Calero.
