Universidad Nacional Héroes de San José de las Mulas hosts III Teachers' Congress

The Universidad Nacional Héroes de San José de las Mulas held the III Congress of Teachers, themed ‘Innovation for Entrepreneurship,’ to foster exchange between educators and students. The event brought together faculty from regional centers in Rivas, Estelí, and Boaco to share pedagogical experiences and best practices aimed at improving higher education quality.

University Rector Elvira Andino emphasized that the congress seeks to connect academic learning with the needs of local communities and productive sectors. The initiative aligns with the national ‘Bendiciones y Victorias’ Education Strategy, focusing on research, innovation, and educational quality to prepare professionals capable of contributing to national development.

Keynote speaker Emanuel de Jesús Acevedo García from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI) addressed university innovation as a fundamental pillar for driving community development.
