Universidad Politécnica de Chihuahua students present 61 innovative projects

Students at the Universidad Politécnica de Chihuahua (UPCH) presented 61 innovative projects, prototypes, and business models during the 2026 edition of Innova Fest. Held at the institution's hangar, the event featured students from various disciplines, including Aeronautical, Environmental and Sustainability, Industrial, and Automotive Mechanical engineering, as well as Business Administration.

Key technological highlights included automotive adaptations for people with disabilities and the elderly, such as modular taxi services and a specialized ball for the visually impaired. Mechanical engineering advancements featured the Vitalcheck predictive scanner, fingerprint ignition systems, intelligent braking for cargo trucks, and regenerative shock absorbers designed to recharge auxiliary batteries. The event focused on demonstrating technical viability and commercial potential for solutions addressing real-world social and productive sector problems.
