Universidad Politécnica de Madrid launches automotive propulsion course

The Spanish Association of Automotive Professionals (ASEPA), in collaboration with INSIA from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, has launched a new training program titled ‘Advanced Technologies of Hybrid, Electric, and Fuel Cell Vehicles’. The 30-hour in-person course is scheduled to run from October 2 to October 24.

The program is structured into four modules designed to cover the full spectrum of current and future propulsion technologies. José María López, president of ASEPA, noted that the course aims to address the complexities and potential confusion regarding different types of hybridization, including micro-hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and fully electric vehicles, which represent a significant portion of the European and national vehicle fleets.
