Universidad Politécnica de Tulancingo invests 8 million pesos in new facilities

The Universidad Politécnica de Tulancingo (UPT) has inaugurated the first stage of its new Psychology Laboratories, following an investment exceeding 8 million pesos. The project includes specialized infrastructure for neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and a Gesell chamber, designed to benefit 210 students.

In addition to the psychology facilities, the university has fully renovated two computer laboratories with 72 new computers and acquired an Urvan van to facilitate student visits to companies and professional institutions. UPT rector Felipe Olimpo Durán Rocha noted that the institution is the first within the Technological and Polytechnic Universities Subsystem to offer a degree in Psychology, which was incorporated in 2025.
