Argentine clubs gear up for Clausura 2026 fixtures amid security ops and venue shifts

A series of security operations have been announced for upcoming Argentine Primera División matches. More than 575 police and security personnel will guard the Atlético de San Luis vs Xolos game, while 370 officers and private guards will secure the Aldosivi‑Gimnasia clash in Mar del Plata. Similar measures are planned for the Belgrano‑Argentinos Juniors encounter in Córdoba, with ticket checks and traffic controls.

Venue changes also affect the schedule. Boca Juniors will relocate its home match against Estudiantes to Huracán’s Tomás Adolfo Ducó stadium because the Bombonera pitch is still being repaired. Racing Club inaugurated a new covered swimming pool in Olavarría, highlighting infrastructure investments by clubs.

In Mexico, special night‑time transport will serve fans attending the Puebla‑vs‑Chivas match in Puebla, offering six routes and a 30‑peso fare. Together, these measures aim to ensure safety, accessibility, and continuity of the 2026 Clausura season across the region.
