Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros celebrates 25th anniversary

The Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros (UTM) celebrated its 25th anniversary with a commemorative ceremony in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. The event honored the faculty, administrative staff, and former rectors who contributed to the institution's founding and growth over the last quarter-century.

During the ceremony, Rector Diana Masso Quintana emphasized that the university's progress is deeply linked to the dedication of the men and women who supported the educational project from its inception. She noted that the institution's history is built upon the commitment of those who helped establish a technological higher education alternative for the border region.

Masso Quintana also acknowledged the support of Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya and Secretary of Education Miguel Ángel Valdez García in strengthening the university's educational vision. The institution reaffirmed its commitment to training professionals who will contribute to the ongoing development of Tamaulipas.
