Universidad Tecnológica de Tijuana reaches record enrollment

The Universidad Tecnológica de Tijuana (UTT) has commenced the 2026-2027 academic cycle with a record enrollment of 6,554 students. This includes 2,280 new students, among whom is the first cohort of the Electromobility Engineering program.

To support this growth, the university has inaugurated the Docencia 6 building. The project involved an investment exceeding 101 million pesos, utilizing a combination of state funds and institutional resources. The new facility features 22 classrooms, computer laboratories, tutoring spaces, and interactive boards, designed to accommodate more than 1,600 students per shift.
