Universidad Tecnológica de Tlaxcala student co-authors Industrial Engineering book

María Guadalupe Cruz Contreras, a fourth-quarter student at the Universidad Tecnológica de Tlaxcala (UTT), has co-authored an academic book titled ‘El estudio del trabajo desde una visión integral en el nivel superior’. Developed in collaboration with researcher José Víctor Galaviz Rodríguez, the work covers fundamental concepts of Industrial Engineering.

The publication spans from the scientific management contributions of Frederick Winslow Taylor and Frank and Lillian Gilbreth to contemporary methodologies for continuous improvement and process optimization. It also addresses job analysis, human talent management, and compensation systems, aiming to bridge classroom knowledge with current industrial sector needs.

Under the leadership of Rector Lenin Calva Pérez, the UTT promotes initiatives that encourage students to engage in research, information analysis, and academic writing early in their professional training to address industrial challenges.
