Universidad Tecnológica del Valle del Mezquital celebrates 30th anniversary

The Universidad Tecnológica del Valle del Mezquital (UTVM) celebrated its 30th anniversary in Ixmiquilpan with a series of academic, cultural, and sporting activities. The event was attended by Natividad Castrejón Valdez, head of the Instituto Hidalguense de Educación (IHE), who delivered a keynote lecture titled ‘Mi proyecto de vida’ regarding goal setting and resilience.

During the ceremony, Castrejón Valdez emphasized the state administration's commitment to providing educational resources for the youth of Hidalgo. UTVM Rector Leoncio Marañón Priego noted that the institution, founded on September 9, 1996, aims to serve as a driver for regional development by providing higher education opportunities to the youth of the Valle del Mezquital.
