Universidad UTE launches mining law program in Ecuador
Universidad UTE has announced a specialized legal training program focused on mining regulation and law in Ecuador. The diploma course, scheduled to begin on November 10, 2026, aims to address the regulatory changes and environmental challenges currently facing the country's extractive industry.
The curriculum consists of five modules covering constitutional frameworks, mining concessions, environmental regulation, social participation, and administrative defense. The program responds to recent legislative updates, specifically the Organic Law for the Strengthening of Strategic Mining and Energy Sectors published in March 2026. The course will utilize national and international experts to teach through real-world cases and compliance management.
