Universidad Veracruzana honors top admission score recipients

Two students, Adela Guadalupe Ábrego Pichardo and María Fernanda Enríquez Montero, achieved the highest admission scores for the Universidad Veracruzana (UV) for the 2026-2027 academic cycle.

Adela Guadalupe Ábrego Pichardo earned the highest overall score of 99.82 points and will study Medical Surgeon in the Orizaba-Córdoba region. María Fernanda Enríquez Montero secured the top score in the Xalapa region with 98.77 points and will pursue the same degree in Xalapa.

The university recognized the top applicants from its five university regions during a ceremony at the Gimnasio Nido del Halcón in Xalapa, led by Rector Martín Aguilar Sánchez.
