Universidade Estadual de Londrina announces academic deadlines and health forum

The State University of Londrina (UEL) has announced several upcoming academic and scientific activities. Applications for master's and doctoral programs in Education close this Wednesday, October 21. The Graduate Program in Education (PPEdu) is offering up to 37 master's and 17 doctoral vacancies, with activities scheduled to begin on March 15, 2027. The selection process involves research projects, oral examinations, and curriculum evaluations.

Additionally, UEL will host ArboConnect 2026, an international forum on arboviruses, vectors, and public health, on October 26. Organized by the Laboratory of Basic and Applied Virology (LAVIR), the event aims to discuss epidemiological landscapes and vector control strategies for diseases such as dengue, zika, and chikungunya. The forum will feature international experts, including representatives from the Universidad del Quindío in Colombia, to discuss integrated surveillance and urban monitoring.
