Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste Baiano releases film list for 2027 vestibular

The University of the Southwest of Bahia (UESB) announced the selection of audiovisual works that will be part of the 2027 university entrance exam. The list, curated by the Janela Indiscreta Cinema e Audiovisual project "Cinema: eis a questão", includes the documentary "O Sal da Terra" (directed by Juliano Ribeiro Salgado and Wim Wenders) featuring photographer Sebastião Salgado, the Brazilian comedy "Saneamento básico, o filme" (2007) directed by Jorge Furtado, and the short‑film "Recife frio" (2009) directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho.

The documentary is available for free on the Tela Brasil platform after simple registration, while "Saneamento básico, o filme" and "Recife frio" can be accessed through the Itaú Cultural Play platform, also requiring registration.
