Universidade Federal de Uberlândia announces student reception and 334 vacancies

The Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) is conducting several academic activities for the 2026/2 semester. The Faculty of Medicine (FAMED) has organized a reception week for new undergraduate students to facilitate integration into the academic community.

The reception program includes cultural performances, an inaugural lecture on ‘Non-Violent Communication’ by Professor Frank José Silveira Miranda, and roundtables regarding human rights and student support services. Scheduled activities also feature presentations from various university departments and student athletic groups.

Additionally, UFU has opened applications for a special selection process offering 334 remaining vacancies in undergraduate courses for the second semester of 2026. Registration is free and available through the UFU Selection Portal until September 9. Candidates must have completed high school and participated in the Enem between 2021 and 2025. Selection is based on Enem scores across four knowledge areas and the essay. Available courses span various campuses, including Uberlândia, Ituiutaba, Monte Carmelo, and Patos de Minas, covering fields such as engineering, biological sciences, and accounting.
