Universidade São Francisco celebrates 50 years with regional leaders

Morungaba Mayor Luis Fernando Miguel attended a meeting hosted by Universidade São Francisco (USF) to celebrate the institution's 50th anniversary. The event, held at the university's Rectory, brought together mayors and representatives from more than 40 municipalities across the Bragantina, Circuito das Águas, Campinas Metropolitan Region, and South of Minas regions.

In addition to the mayor, Morungaba was represented by Vice-Mayor Claudia Pretti Rossi, City Council President Ramon Lamartine de Moraes, and Councilman Tomás Pedro Bom Joanni Federicci. The gathering aimed to highlight USF's role in professional training, knowledge production, and regional social development over the last five decades.

The meeting served as a platform for dialogue between public administration and higher education, focusing on regional needs, experience sharing, and cooperation opportunities to strengthen education and regional growth.
