Universidade Zumbi dos Palmares opens 2026 admissions to boost Black higher education

Universidade Zumbi dos Palmares, a Brazilian institution focused on educating Black students, announced that applications for its 2026 undergraduate intake are now open. The university highlights more than two decades of preparing professionals who are equipped for the labour market and committed to advancing a more just and diverse society. It emphasizes that each new enrollee strengthens a legacy of resistance, knowledge and representation, aiming to increase Black presence in leadership roles across all fields.
