Universijazz celebrates 20th anniversary with nine concerts in Ciudad Real

The Universijazz festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary with nine concerts held in Ciudad Real from November 3 to 14. The event features a diverse lineup of regional, national, and international artists, incorporating styles such as flamenco, root jazz, and funk.

Part of the programming will take place at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Letters at UCLM. Scheduled performers include Mariola Membrives, Albert Cirera & Tres Tambors, Abe Rábade Trío, saxophonist Gustavo Díaz Luque, and guitarist Djamal B.

Organizers and local officials, including Culture Councilor Pedro Lozano, highlighted the festival's role as a cultural landmark for the city. The event aims to balance established musicians with local and regional talent.
