Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria reports growth in Architecture and Design

The Department of Architecture and Design (dAeD) at the Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria is experiencing significant growth in its academic programs. For the 2025-26 academic year, the department recorded approximately 1,000 total enrollments across its three main courses of study, including roughly 100 international students.

Looking ahead to the 2026-27 academic year, the Master's degree in Architecture has seen an increase in applicants, leading to the exhaustion of available spots for its programmed number. Enrollment remains open for Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Design until September 30. The department describes itself as a ‘Laboratory of the Future’ in the heart of the Mediterranean, integrating research, teaching, and social mission through a shared platform for students, researchers, and staff.
