Università Iuav di Venezia to host architecture and well-being conference

As part of the Venice Design Week 2026, the Università Iuav di Venezia will host a conference titled ‘Lo Spazio che Cura’ (The Space that Heals) on Thursday, October 15. The event focuses on the intersection of architecture, interior design, and human well-being.

The discussion aims to move beyond purely technical metrics, such as energy efficiency and lighting, to explore how sensory perception—including acoustics, light, and material choice—affects how people inhabit and relate to their environments. The goal is to examine how design can support the psychological and physical well-being of users by creating spaces that are not only functional but also welcoming and harmonious.
