Università Kore di Enna expands to Syracuse and Ragusa

The Università Kore di Enna is expanding its presence in southeastern Sicily following favorable accreditation from Anvur, the national agency for the evaluation of the university and research system. The expansion includes the launch of new degree programs in Syracuse and Ragusa.

In Syracuse, the university will offer Medicine and Surgery, a six-year single-cycle master's degree, alongside Primary Education Sciences, a five-year program. These represent the first such academic paths in the history of Syracuse. In Ragusa, the activation of the Medicine degree marks a significant new commitment to the Hyblaean territory.

The establishment of these medical programs was supported by agreements with local provincial health authorities to facilitate student internships and faculty healthcare activities. These conventions were approved by the regional Health Assessor, Marcello Caruso, with noted support from Sicilian Regional President Renato Schifani.
