Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès hosts ceramic research seminar

The TRACES laboratory at Université Toulouse Jean Jaurès is hosting a seminar and experimental workshop focused on ceramic production. The event includes practical ceramic experimentation led by members of the Association pour les Journées de la Céramique (AJC).

Scheduled sessions include presentations on Neolithic ceramic technological studies, the social dimensions of decorative processes in ethnographic contexts, and the practical application of spiral patch technical traditions. The program also features research on Sumbanese pottery from Indonesia, examining artisanal specialization through ethnographic and experimental lenses.
