Solid'AIR Marseille launches respiratory health screening for vulnerable populations

The Solid'AIR Marseille initiative is launching a new phase of the national Itiner'AIR program to improve access to respiratory prevention and screening for vulnerable populations. Scheduled for September 30, 2026, in Marseille, the project aims to reach individuals who face barriers to healthcare, such as precarious living situations or a lack of medical follow-up.

Building on the success of the Itiner'AIR program, which has conducted nearly 2,500 spirometry tests and successfully referred 25% of participants with identified anomalies to appropriate care, Solid'AIR focuses on the early detection of chronic respiratory diseases like asthma and COPD. The initiative seeks to create a continuum between prevention, screening, and coordinated medical care to prevent the worsening of chronic conditions.
