Universitario de Deportes is overhauling its squad for the 2026 Liga 1 Clausura. The club confirmed midfielder Jordan Guivin’s return and is close to completing the transfer of Italian‑Peruvian striker Gianluca Lapadula from Spezia. Additional targets include midfielder Adrián Quiroz and several other players as the team, coached by Argentine Hector Cúper, aims to end the season with a historic fourth national title.
