Universitas Bakrie welcomes 1,147 new students for 2026 academic year

Universitas Bakrie has launched UBakrie's Week 2026 in Jakarta to welcome 1,147 new students for the 2026/2027 academic year. The orientation program, running from August 31 to September 4, 2026, focuses on transitioning students to university life and connecting academic studies with industrial needs.

According to Rector Prof. Sofia W. Alisjahbana, the new cohort consists of 58 percent female and 42 percent male students. The university utilizes its connection to the Bakrie Group through an Industry Committee to ensure curriculum relevance. This system aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and the professional world through practitioner lecturers, corporate case studies, and internship programs.
