Universitas Indonesia assists student after violence in Tebet

Universitas Indonesia (UI) has issued a statement regarding an act of violence against Hafidz Hernanda, the Social and Political Affairs Coordinator of the BEM UI student executive body. The incident occurred on the night of Sunday, October 4, in the Tebet area of South Jakarta, allegedly perpetrated by unidentified individuals.

UI Director of Public Relations, Media, Government, and International Relations, Erwin Agustian Panigoro, expressed the university's concern, stating that all forms of violence are unjustifiable. The institution has committed to providing three forms of assistance to the student: medical treatment and recovery support, as well as legal assistance throughout the judicial process.
