Universitas Indonesia leads QS World University Rankings 2027 for Indonesia

The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2027 has identified the top-performing higher education institutions in Indonesia. Universitas Indonesia (UI) leads the nation, ranking 191st globally with an overall score of 56.7. Notably, UI achieved the highest score of 81 in the category of graduate employment prospects.

Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) follows in second place nationally, ranking 206th globally, showing an improvement from its previous position. Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) holds the third spot in Indonesia at 276th globally, despite having a lower score specifically in graduate employment prospects compared to other top institutions.

Other prominent Indonesian universities in the rankings include Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) at 287th globally, IPB University at 419th, and Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) at 496th. The rankings evaluate various metrics, including academic reputation, employer reputation, graduate outcomes, and international research networks.
